Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI models using machine learning, NLP, and computer vision to meet mission needs.
  • Assess feasibility, viability, and costs of AI solutions, ensuring alignment with mission objectives.
  • Support enterprise data architecture and governance to ensure data quality and interoperability.
  • Advise on AI policies and compliance with U.S. Government standards.
  • Recommend integration strategies for AI within existing IT frameworks, tailored to Agile methodologies.
  • Support project management, including selecting development methodologies and coordinating meetings.
  • Translate complex AI concepts into clear, actionable language for diverse stakeholders.
  • Develop white papers, executive summaries, and presentations to communicate AI initiatives.
  • Assist in tracking project schedules, costs, and risks, and contribute to Program Management Reviews.

Basic qualifications

  • Master's degree with 4 years, Bachelor's degree with 8 years, or High School diploma with 12 years of relevant experience in AI, data science, or program management.
  • Proficiency in AI technologies, including machine learning, NLP, and computer vision.
  • Experience with enterprise data governance and policy development.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Government AI standards and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).

Preferred qualifications

  • Certifications in AI, machine learning, or data science (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, Google Professional Data Engineer).
  • Experience developing AI solutions for federal or intelligence community missions.
  • Knowledge of federal data governance and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP).
  • Background working with multi-disciplinary government or IC teams.
