Emotional Skills for Enhanced Productivity, Fulfillment & Influence

18 August Online

About this event

What if you could run your emotions vs. your emotions running you? Have you ever felt frustrated at yourself for making a mistake? Upset at yourself for getting frustrated, and then ashamed for being upset?

Here’s the thing…

Not only do we feel emotions…

We have emotions about our emotions.

And whatever's on top determines how everything underneath actually gets experienced.

You could be ashamed at being upset at being frustrated for making a mistake… and then just accept the entire experience.

Whatever's on top governs everything below.

Now, most of the time, this is happening to you completely unconsciously. You don't choose to be angry at yourself for being disappointed. It just shows up that way, and runs your entire experience.

But there's a different way to work with this.

And its actually quite easy.

To cultivate the skill of layering emotions on top of each other, on purpose.

Take something that's working against you and make it better.

Take something that's already working for you and make it great.

This is the skill of intentionally directing what sits on top, instead of leaving it to whatever shows up first.

And one of the amazing things about being human, we can always think again about our thinking.

In this hands-on workshop event you will:

  • Learn the distinction between a primary emotion and the emotion about the emotion (and why the one on top is the one actually running things).
  • Learn the simple 3 step process for layering emotions on command and lots of hands-on practice layering states live
  • Play around the the Meta-State Mastery playing card game built specifically to learn this skill while having fun.
  • You’ll take emotions that are already serving you and intentionally make them richer, deeper, more textured.
  • You’ll take emotions that are working against you and shift what's governing them (without creating internal conflict) by texturing them for the better.
  • Walk away with more emotional flexibility and power than ever before.

The quality of your life, your productivity, and your relationships are all determined by the quality of your state, so you'll will want to attend this workshop on running your states vs. your states running you.

As with all of my training experiences, prepare to get hands-on. We will focus on EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING you can immediately bring into your daily life.

Be sure to RSVP to guarantee your space. I look forward to seeing you there!

What Our Former Participants Say:
"I wish I knew about this years ago! Thanks again for sharing your state mastery toolbox. You are open sourcing your mind! It encourages everyone to do the same, so good on you! Emotional flexibility and responsiveness to ANY situation is what you will learn in this mastery class." — Stephan I.

"I have gained a life skill in this course. I didn't realise how much of my life is within my control. I thought I was at the mercy of how I felt. Now I see that I can actually influence my life in a much more impactful way — by choosing and summoning states that are my preference." — Natasha B.

"This content is awesome. The worth of this workshop was discovering that the power is in myself to feel/act/achieve whatever it is I desire. I am growing more and more convinced that high-performance individuals are always in control of their states." — Steven M.

"Life is challenging. We can't control other people, the news, natural disasters, or traffic lights. But we can control how we feel within ourselves and how we react to things." — Sally O.
