About this event

DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND!

đŸ§ȘLab Session. This session is a paid session and will be structured as follows:

First 20 minutes

  • Demonstrating the Claude Code build we are going to ship: a working app with its own CLAUDE.md, a custom skill, and a connected MCP server
  • Providing you with the prompts, the CLAUDE.md template, the skill file, and the step-by-step workflow. Only Available To Attendees.

Remaining Session:

  • You will build, and we will be on standby to help when you get stuck.
  • You will leave with a finished app and learned to use Claude Code like a pro.

What You Will Need For This Lab: ( But we can help you set it up too)

  • A Claude Pro plan or API key.
  • Claude Code installed. Mac, Linux, or WSL: curl -fsSL https://claude.ai/install.sh | bash. Windows PowerShell: irm https://claude.ai/install.ps1 | iex
  • Run claude --version before the session to confirm it works
  • VS Code (or your editor of choice) with a terminal
  • A GitHub account
  • Watch The Claude Code Fundamentals Session In The Resources If You Did Not Attend

You will learn everything from setting up your local environment in VS Code to executing autonomous tasks with goals and seamlessly deploying your applications. By mastering file structures, custom skills, and the Model Context Protocol, you will have the exact toolkit needed to automate your development and ship modern software.

Learning Outcomes
1. Set Up Claude Code Inside VS Code
Learn to install Claude Code, connect it to VS Code, and run your first prompt inside a real project folder.
2. Write Prompts That Get Working Code
Learn to give Claude Code file references, context, and limits so you stop getting generic answers back.
3. Structure Files So Claude Code Stays On Track
Learn to use CLAUDE.md, folders, and project context so Claude Code knows your rules before you ask.
4. Build Custom Skills And Connect MCP Servers
Learn to save repeat workflows as skills and use the Model Context Protocol to connect Notion, Gmail, and Drive.
5. Run Autonomous Tasks And Ship The App
Learn to set a goal, let Claude Code work the steps on its own.

Why This Topic Matters
You already lose hours to work you can't automate: repetitive file edits, scripts you can't write, projects that stall because you're not a developer. Claude Code closes that gap. Set it up right, give it context, and let it run, and you stop waiting on someone else to build things. That skill carries: you can take an idea and ship working software yourself.

Quick answers about how DevFound's AI matching, resumes, and referrals work.

DevFound's AI Copilot ingests your profile, goals, and live job data to deliver curated matches in seconds. Every match includes a resume variant, suggested referrals, and interview prep so you can act immediately. The more feedback you provide, the sharper the Copilot becomes.

AI-led job searches shrink the hours spent sifting through boards and formatting resumes. DevFound pairs automation with your personal outreach, so you reserve energy for interviews and negotiation. Traditional networking still matters, but AI gives you a lift before you even send a message.

Modern AI roles expect comfort with production-grade code, data fluency, and practical ML tooling. The strongest candidates pair deep technical chops with storytelling—translating model impact to product, GTM, and exec partners. Continuous learning keeps you ahead as stacks evolve.

DevFound rewards active seekers. Keep your profile fresh, respond to match quality prompts, and enable alerts so you never miss a role. The AI prioritizes companies and teams that align with your feedback, accelerating both introductions and interview invites.

High-density tech hubs continue to host the deepest AI talent pools, yet distributed teams are catching up fast. Use DevFound filters to hone in on onsite, hybrid, or fully remote roles and watch openings expand across time zones.

DevFound aggregates thousands of remote AI openings and flags the nuances—core hours, async culture, and visa needs—up front. The Copilot also recommends how to position your distributed work experience so hiring managers know you can thrive on a remote team.
