About this episode

What does it actually take to create, teach and hold an NLP Master Practitioner training?

In this episode, I’m taking you properly behind the scenes of one of the biggest trainings I’ve ever created inside The Subconscious Institute, my training school where I train coaches and practitioners in different modalities for working with the subconscious mind.

After three months of preparation, a nearly 400 page manual, five full days of online training and three days together in a château in France, I officially qualified our first TSI NLP Master Practitioners.

But there was a LOT that happened before the graduation photos you saw on Instagram.

I’m taking you through the whole bloody thing: what NLP Masters actually is, why teaching at Master Practitioner level stretched me in a completely new way, everything that went into creating the training and what happened when we finally got everyone together in France.

I also get into the side you don’t necessarily see, holding my 1:1 clients alongside the training, being away from Ivy for the longest I’ve ever been away from her, the mum guilt that came with that, the support that allowed me to hold everything and what this experience taught me about my own capacity.

And, of course, we’re getting into the subconscious work underneath ALL of it.

Because one of my biggest realisations from Masters had nothing to do with learning another NLP technique.

It was what happens when you step beyond the evidence you currently have for who you are, do the bloody thing anyway and give your subconscious the evidence to catch up.

Topics covered on NLP Masters:

  1. What NLP is and what changes when you progress from NLP Practitioner to NLP Master Practitioner
  2. Why Masters required a completely different way of teaching and why that stretched me as a trainer
  3. Critical mass, subconscious evidence and why doing something new can feel so bloody uncomfortable
  4. The three months of preparation behind my first NLP Masters training
  5. Creating a nearly 400 page training manual and the standard I want every TSI qualification to represent
  6. The NLP techniques and concepts we explored, including Strategies, Values, Parts Integration, Meta Programs and advanced linguistics
  7. What happened during the five-day online training and some of the breakthroughs I witnessed
  8. The VERY unglamorous journey to France before the château retreat
  9. What happened during our three days of in-person NLP Masters training
  10. Holding students, my 1:1 clients and myself throughout an incredibly intense 10 days
  11. Capacity and why being able to hold more doesn’t mean it stops feeling like a lot
  12. Being away from Ivy, mum guilt and allowing motherhood and ambition to coexist
  13. How Jack helped bring the entire Masters retreat to life and what our different Meta Programs have taught me about building a team
  14. The board break, Goal Evolution and officially qualifying our first TSI NLP Master Practitioners
  15. The full circle moment of going from completing my own NLP Masters in 2019 to teaching my own
  16. The evidence Masters gave me about who I am as a teacher and what I’m building with The Subconscious Institute

Quick answers about how DevFound's AI matching, resumes, and referrals work.

DevFound's AI Copilot ingests your profile, goals, and live job data to deliver curated matches in seconds. Every match includes a resume variant, suggested referrals, and interview prep so you can act immediately. The more feedback you provide, the sharper the Copilot becomes.

AI-led job searches shrink the hours spent sifting through boards and formatting resumes. DevFound pairs automation with your personal outreach, so you reserve energy for interviews and negotiation. Traditional networking still matters, but AI gives you a lift before you even send a message.

Modern AI roles expect comfort with production-grade code, data fluency, and practical ML tooling. The strongest candidates pair deep technical chops with storytelling—translating model impact to product, GTM, and exec partners. Continuous learning keeps you ahead as stacks evolve.

DevFound rewards active seekers. Keep your profile fresh, respond to match quality prompts, and enable alerts so you never miss a role. The AI prioritizes companies and teams that align with your feedback, accelerating both introductions and interview invites.

High-density tech hubs continue to host the deepest AI talent pools, yet distributed teams are catching up fast. Use DevFound filters to hone in on onsite, hybrid, or fully remote roles and watch openings expand across time zones.

DevFound aggregates thousands of remote AI openings and flags the nuances—core hours, async culture, and visa needs—up front. The Copilot also recommends how to position your distributed work experience so hiring managers know you can thrive on a remote team.
